Meet Rugby Legends At Pontypool Indoor Market This St David’s Day

TV presenter and former Welsh International Eddie Butler will be joined by the legendary Pontypool front row Graham Price, Charlie Faulkner and Bobbie Windsor, and current members of Pontypool RFC, for a special meet and greet this St David’s Day at Pontypool Indoor Market. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The event also includes the Cotyledon Food and Craft Market alongside the town’s usual Wednesday outdoor market, workshops by Mother Earth Crafts, and activities for little ones including Wonderful Wardrobe Dress up and Dance and face painting. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

There will also be performances from Ysgol Feithrin Pontypwl, Abersychan High School and the Cor Fon Lwyd Welsh choir. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Activities start from 11am in the town centre and indoor market, with the meet and greet with the players taking place between 12:30pm and 1:30pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The event has been organised by the volunteers of the Friends of Pontypool Town. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
