Burglary – High Cross Lane

Were you near High Cross Lane in Newport on Friday 5th August at around 9.45-10.00pm? ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

We’re investigating a burglary in the area where occupants of a large grey/silver car stopped on High Cross Lane and ran into the driveway of one of the houses. When they attempted to break in to the house, the burglar alarm sounded. They then ran back to the car, empty-handed and drove off at speed, towards Risca Road. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
