Appeal Following A Serious Assault On Commercial Street, Newport

We’d like to speak to them in connection with a serious assault along Commercial Street in Newport. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The offence occurred sometime between 7:40pm and 8:10pm on Thursday 16th February 2017. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A male was violently assaulted and was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries following the incident. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Three males have already been arrested on suspicion of Affray relating to this offence and are currently on police bail until 06/04/17. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
