Informative Talks To Be Held At Caerphilly Library

Caerphilly Library is set to host informative talks from the Caerffili and District Twinning Association and Dean Powell on Welsh actor, Glyn Houston. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Caerffili and District Twinning Association will hold a talk at Caerphilly Library on Thursday 29th September at 7pm about the past, present and future of twinning and Caerphilly county borough. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

25 years ago Caerphilly was twinned with Lannion in Brittany, France and later Llanbradach was twinned with the adjacent town of Ploubezre. The talk with cover a brief history of the Twinning Association and will outline current activities and future plans. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be provided. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

On Wednesday 5th October, Dean Powell will host a talk on Welsh actor Glyn Houston from 7pm.
Come along to Caerphilly Library and find out more about the South Wales Valleys Boy who became one of Britain’s most popular actors of television and film. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Glyn Houston talk is free admission by ticket only. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
