Appeal To Trace Missing Woman And Her Son

Police are continuing to appeal for information to trace a woman and her son who have not been seen since last week. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

36-year-old Ellen Jones and 8-year-old Lewis Rhys Jones have not been seen since Tuesday, 17th January. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Ellen is described as being approx. 5ft 4 inches tall with dark brown shoulder-length hair and was last seen wearing black trousers and a cream-coloured cardigan. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

8-year-old Lewis Rhys Jones is described as being approx. 4ft tall with short mousey coloured hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark trousers and a dark long-sleeved tshirt. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

It is believed they may be using a Gold coloured Citroen Zara, registration YS52 VTV. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Temporary Inspector Andrew Gibson said: “Police enquiries are underway to trace Ellen and Rhys and we are also in contact with nearby police forces. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“We are appealing to anybody who may know of their whereabouts to contact us immediately. Equally we are also appealing direct to Ellen to contact us to let us know that both her and Lewis are safe and well.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Anybody who may have seen them, or who may know the whereabouts of their vehicle is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference number V009157. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
