Flintshire GCSE Results 2016

The proportion of grades in the A* to C range in 2016 is 66.6% across Wales, the same as in 2015. These higher grade (A* – C) passes across Flintshire stand at 67.2% of all examinations taken with the Welsh Board. This is 0.2% higher than the Flintshire figure for all examinations at the same stage last year. The proportion of A* and A grades achieved by Flintshire students with the Welsh Board in 2016 is 18.9%, which is 0.5% higher than at the same stage in 2015. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The total number of subject entries by Flintshire students with the Welsh Board in the summer exams is 1.1% lower than last year. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Once again our pupils have performed well and achieved high standards in their external examinations.
